Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone has defended its national U23 title with a last-gasp 60-58 victory over South Zone at the NZ Age Group Netball Championships in Dunedin.

After three days of intense competition, the finalists for the New Zealand Age Groups Netball Championships U23 and U19 have been found in Dunedin.

The Wintec NWBOP Under 23 team have had successful scoreboard results at the final pre-season tournament that was hosted by Netball Northern at the Auckland Netball Centre.
