Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone is pleased to announce the appointment of Margaret Forsyth to the role of Cold Power Magic head coach.

Inaugural CEO of Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone (Netball WBOP) and Cold Power Magic, Tim Hamilton has announced he will step down from his role.

It was another successful day at our Zone secondary schools tournament on Sunday 7th August at Rotorua.

Congratulations to Cold Power Magic players Jamie-Lee Price and Kelly Jury, along with Waikato Bay of Plenty player Monica Falkner, who have been selected in the New Zealand U21 team to tour Australia. The team includes 14 athletes who will compete at the 20/U International Tournament in Canberra, Australia, 11-14 August.

The Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship Programme –recipients of this scholarship are recognised for all-round talent in academia, sport or creative and performing art, and leadership.

It is with a great degree of sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Dodge on Tuesday, 7th June 2016. 

International Netball will return to Waikato / Bay of Plenty Zone in August and September when Rotorua and Hamilton host the Silver Ferns in the Netball Quad Series and the New World Netball Series for the Taini Jamison Trophy.
