Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty (NWBOP) would like to announce the long list of young aspiring netballers in our Zone who have been identified throughout the 2018 competitive netball season. This group of athletes are invited to take part in the Level 1 & Level 2 programmes.

The Waikato Bay of Plenty Netball team will be led by Rebecca Gabel for the 2019 Beko Netball League. She will be joined by Sonya Noble as Assistant Coach, while 2018 manager Dairne Burns will continue in her role for another season.

Harbourside Netball Centre hosted the 2018 Upper North Island Secondary School Tournament which was led by Harbourside Manager, Tracy Walters.

On Wednesday 29 August, Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty held their inaugural awards combining Magic and community awards all in one.

The Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Awards, in partnership with SKYCITY Hamilton, will take place next Wednesday 29 August at SKYCITY Hamilton.

On Monday 30 July, a select group of netball supporters and local business people joined Netball WBOP Board Members, staff and Magic & WBOP Beko Netball League players, for a soft launch of a new donor/patronage club for netball in the Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone – the Magic Women First Club.
