As sports face the significant impacts of Covid-19, getting professional leagues and community sport back up and running poses many challenges. But Netball NZ chief executive, Jennie Wyllie, believes her sport is primed for a return - and ready to share its wisdom with other codes.

During the current COVID-19 crisis, Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty is still in operation and all staff are still working hard to support our netball community.

On Sunday 29 March, the Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone held its 7th Annual General Meeting, in a very historic environment.

New Zealand’s ANZ Premiership along with Community Netball have been suspended for the foreseeable future whilst the Beko Netball League has been cancelled for 2020.
Netball New Zealand has made the decision to postpone the 2020 ANZ Premiership for two weeks due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Netball New Zealand and the country’s five Netball Zones have made a number of recommendations regarding the approaching Community Netball winter season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Congratulations to the following players who have been selected to attend the Wintec Zone Performance camps on April 17-18 in Te Awamutu.

Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty is pleased to announce the 2020 WBOP Beko Netball League squad.
