Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty (NWBOP) invite expressions of interest from suitably experienced and committed coaches interested in applying for the Synergy Hair Netball League (NNL) Assistant Coach Position.
The purpose of the NWBOP Synergy Hair Netball League Assistant Coach is to:
- Assist the SHNL Head Coach in the development, progress and implementation of the overall NNL programme and coaching plan aimed at developing a style of play consistent with Zone values and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend all Synergy Hair Netball league court trainings, matches and meetings
- Assist in the delivery of quality training sessions and presentations as well as training and game day reviews
- Use technology and appropriate data to improve performance.
- In consultation with the SHNL Head Coach ensure that there is an understanding and adoption of a professional & disciplined performance culture for players, coaches and staff which reflects the zone’s core values.
- Assist with the coordination, delivery and analysis of the player feedback process, as well as player Individual Performance Plans (IPP’s)
- Assist the SHNL Head Coach in the development and analysis of the player feedback process, as well as player individual performance plans.
- Assist the SHNL Head Coach in the development of key performance indicators of the playing group’s progress, skill development strategies and a range of tactics for a variety of situations and opponents.
