In the past seven years, the NetballSmart (NS) strategy has developed extensively. Starting with the NetballSmart Dynamic warm up (NSDWU), NetballSmart has evolved into a comprehensive holistic Injury Prevention Programme (IPP). It is the healthy heart of Netball.
The NetballSmart Strategy has four key objectives:
- Decrease serious Injuries (Ankle and Knee) of all Netball players.
- Increase Awareness/Engagement of NetballSmart Philosophies into Netball practices.
- Improve Player Wellbeing and Welfare by educating players and coaches on holistic wellbeing and decreasing overall Netball injury rate.
- Develop Physically Capable Competent Movers (PCCM) who can cope with the demands of the game.
We are looking for dynamic, self managing person to help the Centre to meet our NetballSmart Objectives:
- Decrease serious Injuries (Ankle and Knee) of all Netball players.
- Increase Awareness/Engagement of NetballSmart Philosophies into Netball practices.
- Improve Player Wellbeing and Welfare by educating players and coaches on holistic wellbeing and decreasing overall Netball injury rate.
- Develop Physically Capable Competent Movers (PCCM) who can cope with the demands of the game.
This is a part time (average 8 hours per week) fixed term position to 31 October 2025. Flexibility in working hours is required with evening, weekend and during school hours.
