Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty (NWBOP) invite expressions of interest from suitably experienced and committed Team Managers interested in applying for the National Netball League (NNL) Team Manager Position.
The purpose of the NWBOP National Netball League Team Manager is to:
- Manage and care for NWBOP National Netball League (NNL) players and coaches in a way that is consistent with Zone values and goals.
Applicants need to be aware that due to the breadth of our zone travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the team for the Pre-season and Competition programme
- Organise and manage all team training and game requirements
- Maintain close communication with the coaching team
- Provide support for the coaching team and other primary care personnel as and when needed
- Negotiate acceptable standards with the coaching team and players; as well as supporting the players to meet the standards as agreed and expected
- Uphold the philosophy and standards as expected by the Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty Zone
- Carry out media and public relations work as required
- Report to the Pathways Lead after consultation with the Team Coach on team management matters when required
- Accept responsibility for other duties as requested by the Team Coach or the Pathways Lead
