Waikato Bay of Plenty led from start to finish, as we continued to build on our win from last week.
Short, flat ball, with speed around the circle edge opened up spaces into the shooters, with attempts at goal high during the first, and third quarter particularly.
We were challenged more strongly on attack in the second quarter, where positive movements and use of space will be a work on heading into the remaining matches.
Again, team defence created pressure on the Comets and turnovers were ours for the taking. Banking the turnovers and converting our own centre passes were key during the match.
All 10 players received court time, and a number of positional changes were made through-out the game. While we drew the last quarter, it was pleasing to see new combinations out on court.
